Help your kids beat the heat this summer and participate in council’s school holiday activities in your town.
With over 70+ events to choose from across the region, there’s something for every age and interest.
Kicking off on 2 December 2023, activities will take place in Blackwater, Capella, Tieri, Emerald, Gemfields, Springsure, Rolleston, Dingo, and Duaringa.
General Manager John McDougall is impressed by the program that’s been put together by the youth and libraries teams.
‘The teams have put a lot of effort into planning activities that are accessible and appropriate for various age groups,’ he said.
‘There’s something for everyone – from pool parties to movie days, to robotics building, crafts and even gaming sessions!
‘It’s the perfect way for kids to get out of the house and engage in a safe environment, learn a new skill or even meet a new friend.’
