Gordonvale Pool will be closed from Monday 11 December to allow for the replacement of expansion joints.

The pool needs to be drained to allow for the scheduled works to be completed, which are to maintain a watertight seal, improve the visual appearance of the pool, and ensure the safety of patrons.

It is expected that the works will take four weeks to complete, weather permitting.

While there is no ideal time to undertake essential pool maintenance December is traditionally a quiet period as there are no formal swimming classes or squad training.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.
