Christmas Closures 2023 – 2024

To allow our staff a safe and happy festive season, Council will be closing the following non-essential services for part of the Christmas and New Year period. 

Administration Centre – Ulverstone: Closing 2pm Friday 22 December 2023, reopening 8am Tuesday 2 January 2024. Service Centre – Penguin: Closing 2pm Friday 22 December 2023, reopening 9:30am Tue 2 January 2024. Works Depot: Closing 2pm Friday 22 December 2023, reopening 7:30am Tuesday 2 January 2024. Penguin Visitor Information Centre: Closed Christmas Day. Open all other days subject to volunteer availability. HIVE: Closed Christmas Day. Open all other days 10am – 4pm. Child Care Centre: Closing 6pm Friday 22 December 2023, reopening 7am Monday 8 January 2024. Ulverstone Sports & Leisure Centre: Closing 2pm Friday 22 December 2023, reopening 8am Tuesday 2 January 2024. Resource Recovery Centre: Closing 3pm Sunday 24 December 2023, reopening 9am Wednesday 27 December 2023. Closed again on Monday 1 January. Bins Collection Schedules: Bins usually collected on Monday 25 December will be collected two days earlier on Saturday 23 December 2023. Other bin collection schedules: Will be the same throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
