Postponement of Ordinary Meeting due to Cyclone Jasper

This Wednesday’s Ordinary Council meeting will be postponed due to Tropical Cyclone Jasper.

CEO Mica Martin said the meeting will be deferred until the next available opportunity.

“With the unpredictability of Tropical Cyclone Jasper, Council has decided to postpone the ordinary meeting until the next available opportunity,” she said.

“Our efforts are currently focused on preparing for and responding to the impacts of the severe weather event.”

The meeting agenda remains unchanged at this point in time, including the appointment of the Division 4 Councillor position.
