Wembley Golf Course has become the first facility in WA to unveil the cutting-edge Trackman Range technology at its state-of-the-art driving range, solidifying its standing as one of Australia's premier golfing destinations.
The Trackman Range is a game-changer for driving ranges globally, providing golfers with an unparalleled experience through its innovative technology. Players can track shots using 21-inch on-site touchscreens or a user-friendly mobile app, elevating the experience for all skill levels.
Town of Cambridge Mayor Gary Mack says the new addition showcases Wembley Golf Course’s commitment to delivering “the best golfing experience” for all ages and skill levels.
“The Trackman Range tracks progress while adding an element of fun, making our facility ideal for golf enthusiasts," Mayor Mack said.
“We invite people to experience the future of golf practice and play at our enhanced facility. Embrace the transformation of your game with the Trackman Range, where every swing counts.”
Whether a seasoned pro or a novice, Trackman Range provides exciting and user-friendly applications, transforming the range experience for all golfers. The system emphasises purposeful practice, offering actionable data points in real-time after every shot.
Key features of the Trackman Range include real-time performance data including carry and total distance, ball speed, distance to pin as well as entertaining family-friendly games, utilising the same top-tier technology trusted by the top 100 players globally and showcased on the PGA Tour.
One standout feature is the ‘Take Your Practice to the Course’ initiative where players can drop the ball anywhere on any hole, practising until they perfect their shots, with eight actionable data points provided in real-time.
Additionally, the ‘Find My Distance’ feature empowers golfers with accurate distance measurements for each club, stored in the 'mybag' virtual yardage book within the TrackMan Golf app after each session.
The Wembley Golf Course has been professionally rendered by Trackman and will be available to play virtually around the world from May 2024, further increasing the course's exposure as a world-leading golf facility.
