Boer War Memorial – Replacement and Deaccession
Boof - a sweet pup looking for his forever home! This loving pup is all about cuddles - he loves to snuggle up with his favourite people and show them all of his affection. He's always happy to see new friends, wagging his tail in anticipation of the love and attention they can bring.
Boof is gentle and friendly, making him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. He has a huge heart, ready to give it away to the person or family who will give him the forever home he deserves.
A positive change has started. As the Bridge Mall redevelopment progresses all businesses are open. Thank you for continuing to shop and support local this holiday season.

NAMING PROPOSAL FOR NEW COMMUNITY HUB AND KINDERGARTEN IN ALFREDTON
The City of Ballarat, in partnership with the Victorian State Government, is currently delivering a multipurpose kindergarten and community hub at 18 Donegal Drive within the Ballymanus Estate (located next to the Djila-tjarriu Playspace).
With the building due for completion in December 2023, the City of Ballarat is now seeking feedback on the proposed naming of the facility as the Djila-tjarriu Community Hub, and the kindergarten as the Djila-tjarriu Kindergarten.
The City of Ballarat has collaborated with the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation to receive language permission for the use of the name Djila-tjarriu (pronounced Jilla-ja-roo), which means ‘place of play’.
Individuals can make a submission relating to the proposed naming of the new facility via mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au until Monday, 15 January 2024.
