Council’s Sport & Active Recreation Advisory group provides advice and feedback to council on matters relevant to the strategic direction of sport and active recreation in the Central Highlands Regional Council area.
The group has four community representation seats for interested participants with a passion for and expert knowledge of sport and recreation. Previous members included active members of a sports club or association, an industry business owner or an athlete.
Facilitated by council officers, meetings occur quarterly with members expected to attend in person or via phone/video conference.
