Public notice: Water main replacement in Harris Street and Borilla Street – Emerald

Please be advised that Roebuck Civil Pty Ltd will commence works in early January 2024 along Harris Street and Borilla Street in Emerald.

Stage 1: Locating and marking underground services to commence Tuesday 16 January 2024 with expected completion by late January 2024.

Stage 2: Construction is expected to commence 1 February 2024 and end late April 2024. Stage 2 construction works will include:

Heavy machinery, construction plant, truck deliveries and traffic control measures. Water main works that may interrupt water supply towards the end of the project. Affected residents will be notified.

The following streets will be affected: 

Harris Street (between Borilla Street and Opal Street). Borilla Street (between Harris Street and Topaz Street). The roundabout at the intersection of Harris Street and Borilla Street.  Access to Leahy Place. 

Letters will be forwarded to notify affected residents, with ongoing updates to be provided once work commences.
