Help shape Gannawarra Library Service's Story Time program

Published on 17 January 2024

The Gannawarra Library Service is seeking your help in shaping its popular Story Time program during 2024.

Held weekly at the Cohuna Library and Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library, the program enables children aged 0-6 years and their families to enjoy hearing a story and participate in other activities.

“Our dedicated Gannawarra Library Service staff do an amazing job in developing a lifetime love of reading, with the Story Time program key to this relationship,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

As part of efforts to develop the 2024 program, families who regularly attend sessions and those interested in participating this year are encouraged to complete a two-minute survey available online at www.gsc.vic.gov.au/StoryTime or from Gannawarra Library Service branches at Cohuna, Kerang, Leitchville and Quambatook before 5pm Friday, 1 March.

The survey includes questions relating to what people like about the program, preferred session days and times, and suggested improvements.

“All feedback received will help our dedicated Gannawarra Library Service staff develop this year’s program, which will continue to inspire the next generation of literacy lovers,” Mr Rollinson said.
