Update – Repair Works Griffin Bridge, Mungalup Road, Collie

Griffin Bridge located on Mungalup Road is in the final stages of construction with the deteriorated piles removed and replaced with steel columns. Encasement of the piles has commenced with the grout block installed. Through hard work and perseverance from the contractors, works are on schedule as anticipated and due to be completed by the 9th February 2024 even when faced with the publics continue disregard to the bridge’s closure, trespassing and vandalism onsite.

These challenging works are of high risk, and we urge the public to refrain from entering the construction site or use the bridge after hours as this poses a significant risk to themselves and the integrity of the bridge repairs.
