Public notice: Water mains break repair – Emerald

Please be advised that urgent works to repair a water main on Egerton Street in Emerald are taking place on Tuesday 6 February from approximately 6.00 pm through to 6.00 am Wednesday 7 February 2024.

Affected streets:

South side of Egerton Street between Hospital Road and Anakie Street will LOSE WATER. West bound lane of Egerton Street between Hospital Road and Anakie Street will be CLOSED.

Note: When water is restored, nearby properties may experience slight discolouration of the water; if you do, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period. If this persists, please contact council on 1300 242 686.
