Small businesses and entrepreneurs are invited to bring their exciting ideas to life at some of Fremantle's iconic coastal destinations.
The City of Fremantle is looking to activate some of its outdoor spaces and enhance the visitor experience with new attractions.
It is calling for expressions of interest in six-month winter trading permits for leisure, recreation or tourism-focused ventures that are aligned with the seasonal trading guiding principles.
The locations include Bathers Beach, South Beach, Port Beach and Leighton Beach.
Successful applicants will be able to trade from 1 May to 31 October 2024.
The ventures must meet certain criteria that include being sustainable, complementing Fremantle’s character, filling a gap in the market and not competing with established businesses.
Prospective traders are encouraged to submit their applications before Friday 1 March 2024.
