Cr Lenore Wyatt, a passionate advocate for community and sustainability, stands out as a prominent figure for the Mareeba Shire Council.

As an experienced councillor of already eight years in the role, Lenore passionately advocates for residents throughout Mareeba Shire and champions various local community groups and initiatives. A significant focus of her efforts has been the promotion of recycling, underlining her commitment to responsible waste management for the well-being of our shire. Going beyond mere words, Lenore actively engages with the community to instil and implement environmentally sustainable practices.

Lenore’s tireless involvement in various committees highlights her diverse interests and skills. Serving as the Deputy Chair of the Traffic Advisory Committee, she has shone a spotlight on the urgency to upgrade roads, collaborating with the Department of Main Roads to address transportation challenges across the entire shire.
