Have your say on the new name for Burnie's Cultural Precinct

Voting opened at the Burnie City Council BBQ and Consultation event on the Foreshore on 24 February, with three options for the public to choose from.

With hundreds of votes already cast, a clear favourite is yet to emerge so your vote is needed.

Once voting is concluded, the votes will be tallied and presented to our elected Councillors to provide them insight into the community's preference on the new name. The Councillors will then vote at a Council meeting to make the new name official.

The three names for your consideration were finalised by the committee overseeing the redevelopment of Burnie's Cultural Precinct, which included two members of the public.  In an exhaustive process, the final names were chosen from a list of over 50 options, including names suggested by the public when we asked you directly for your ideas. The names below have been vetted for trade mark considerations.
