The Fremantle International Street Arts Festival has revealed the lineup of artists set to take over Fremantle’s streets, parks and laneways this Easter long weekend.
Taking world-class street entertainment to new heights will be AFUMA, a troupe of talented stilt walkers and musicians from Togo making their Australian debut on three metre stilts.
The extraordinary lineup of artists continues with the proud and impressive all-femme YUCK Circus. Following sell-out shows across the world, this flexi, loud and cheeky group of Australian performers will hit the streets of Fremantle for the first time.
At the Old Courthouse, festivalgoers will find bubble trouble coming from The Bubble Canteen. With more than 12,000 bubbles launching every minute, the air will be filled with mesmerising shapes, sizes, and colours.
The Esplanade Hotel will host its first-ever Mermaid Lagoon, with Fliptease Mermaids splish, splosh, splashing all the little mermaid fans.
Visitors are also invited to wander through Fremantle to discover all the other extraordinary performances, with artists including Mario Queen of the Circus (USA), Alakazam (USA), Janna Cycle (GER), The Pitts Family Circus (AUS), Basketball Man (USA) and Kiki Bittovabitsch (AUS).
The highly anticipated FISAF After Dark will see musical performances take to the stage with experiences including a free Silent Disco on South Terrace on Saturday and Sunday nights.
