Community Strategic Plan Survey
Yass Valley Council is excited to launch the Towards 2042 community survey. The Towards 2042 Community Strategic Plan outlines the main aspirations and priorities for our local government area for the next 20 years.
Towards 2042 survey asks the local community some key questions to make sure it is an accurate representation of our future. Council has a custodial role in initiating and preparing the Community Strategic Plan, but it is a community plan. Many partners, such as state agencies and community groups, will be responsible for its implementation. The Community Strategic Plan ensures the whole community is working towards a shared vision for a better future.
The survey is available on Council’s website: https://www.yassvalley.nsw.gov.au until 15 March.
Developmental Community Plan
The Yass Valley Developmental Control Plan (DCP) will be on exhibition on our website for a period of 56 days until 28 April 2024.
Submissions on the DCP must be made in writing to Council and will be accepted until 5pm on Monday 29 April, 2024.
The purpose of this Plan is to give effect to the aims and objectives of Yass Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013 and to guide and facilitate permissible development accordingly. This Plan outlines Council’s standards for new development and seeks to achieve the objectives of the land use zones as prescribed in Yass Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013.
