The Role:
Our Information Centre Officer assists the Tourism Officer with the daily operations of the Kuranda Visitor Information Centre (KVIC). On a typical day, you will meet and greet customers and visitors to the centre and provide them with courteous service and accurate information.
What we are looking for:
You will have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well in a team environment or autonomously You will have a strong knowledge of the local tourism industry, marketing publications and advertising You will be competent in the use of computer programs and conducting internet research You will have sound written, numerical and digital literacy allowing you to communicate effectively with all members of the community, including internal and external customers, and complete basic financial and administrative tasksWhat we can offer you:
