ACE Radio’s popular breakfast programs will be broadcasting from Cohuna on Friday, 15 March.
In a first for the Gannawarra, two breakfast programs - The Morning Rush, broadcast locally on 1332 3SH on the AM radio frequency, and The Morning Crew, broadcast locally on MIXX FM via 98.7 or 107.7 on the FM radio frequency – will broadcast from the one site at Garden Park from 6am-9am.
“It is fantastic to welcome The Morning Rush and The Morning Crew teams back to the Gannawarra, with these programs previously broadcast at various local locations including the Koondrook Wharf, Koondrook Retreat and Kerang’s Victoria Square,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.
“Council is proud to support this broadcast as part of the Gannawarra flood recovery program to highlight the range of opportunities in the Gannawarra to local audiences as well as those throughout country Victoria and the New South Wales Southern Riverina.
“This is a great way to bring vibrancy back to Gannawarra communities and the local business sector after the recent flood events and to help build hope and confidence for the future.”
Residents are encouraged to visit Garden Park and meet the presenters from either program on the day, with a free community breakfast to be served at the Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre from 7am.
Those unable to attend can hear the broadcast by tuning in via radio or listen at www.3sh.com.au (The Morning Rush) or www.mixx1077.com.au (The Morning Crew) from 6am on Friday, 15 March 2024.
This broadcast is funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments under the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) as part of the Gannawarra Community Flood Recovery Program.
