Corowa Pet’s Day Out

Published on 12 March 2024

Mark your calendars, pet lovers! The Corowa Pet’s Day Out event is scheduled on Saturday 13 April, 2024 from 9am – 1pm at the Corowa Civic Centre.

Federation Council Mayor, Councillor Patrick Bourke said, “Council is excited to host this amazing opportunity to ensure your pets are always safe, happy, and accounted for.

“A great day is planned with local businesses attending the event including Federation Vet Hospital, Corowa Vet Clinic, Mobile Pet Parlour and the Office of Local Government (OLG) - Pet Registry Division.”

“Not only will your dog and/or cat receive FREE microchipping (if they're 4 months or older), but they'll also enjoy complimentary veterinary and registration checks.”

“To keep you and your fur babies energized, we're firing up the grill for a FREE sausage sizzle, with special treats for your four-legged pals provided by local business Cool Off,” he said.

Don't miss the chance to meet our friendly Ranger Rob and learn about responsible pet ownership and all things animal welfare.

Microchipping is a quick and harmless procedure where a small microchip is inserted between your pet's shoulder blades. Microchipping provides identification only for your animal.

If your microchipped pet goes astray and is taken to a vet, pound or shelter, we use the microchip's data to contact you and quickly reunite you with your pet.

Bring your pets, bring their friends, and let's make sure they're chipped, registered and ready for all of life's adventures!

Terms and Conditions

Dogs and cats over 4 months of age are eligible to receive a free Microchip. Litters will not be eligible for free microchipping.
