2024 State Election Polling Information

Polling day for the 2024 State election has been set for Saturday, 23 March 2024.

You can vote in person from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday 23 March 2024, at any polling place around Tasmania.  The Tasmania Electoral Commission are currently confirming the availability of polling places and locations. These will be published on their website in the lead-up to polling day.

Voting is compulsory for electors. However, if you are unable to vote on the day, you may be eligible to vote early through one the following options.

Below are some pre-poll centres that are located near Tasmania’s Central Coast that will be open from Monday, 4 March 2024 until Monday, 18 March 2024.

Burnie: Address: 22 Wilmot St Vision impaired voting service

Devonport Address: 2/101 Oldaker St

You might be eligible to vote by post.  Applications close at 4 pm on Friday 15 March 2024. For more information, click here.
