The Cardinia Shire community is invited to provide feedback on the detailed concept design for PB Ronald Reserve in Pakenham.
The masterplan for PB Ronald Reserve was endorsed by Council in 2021, and the detailed design is part of phase 4 community consultation. The masterplan is a shared vision for the reserve and sets the direction for the future of its active and passive open space areas.
Council has progressed the detailed design stage of the masterplan implementation and is seeking community feedback on key aspects:
Support for the proposed amendment to the masterplan for the relocation of the Men’s Shed to allow the Men’s Shed to continue to support a growing membership and community. The design process has identified that the skate park is ageing and requires redevelopment, rather than expansion of the existing skate park. The draft concept design includes what can be achieved in this area to support a range of ages and skill levels. To support community members of all ages, feedback is being sought on the style of, and equipment for, the proposed ninja course and seniors’ exercise station.Feedback received from the community will help inform the final designs.
The delivery of the masterplan is subject to funding, however, the completion of the detailed design will support Council to actively seek external grant funding.
The community can provide feedback until Sunday 14 April online at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay or by attending a drop-in session:
