A safety upgrade of the intersection of Curzon Street and Perth Street in Rangeville is now complete.
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) Infrastructure Services General Manager Mike Brady said the upgrade will improve the intersection’s overall safety and operation as well as cater for future traffic demands.
“The roundabout will improve safety for pedestrians and road users travelling through the intersection,” Mr Brady said.
“Council appreciates the impacts that construction projects can have on residents, businesses, and the wider community.”
“Council would like to thank everyone, especially local residents for their co-operation and patience during construction.”
The project was proudly funded through the federal Black Spot Program, which aims to reduce the risk, incidence and severity of crashes. Council also contributed funds to the project.
