Section 47(1) Notice - Licence for the Velodrome - Moree Bicycling Club

In accordance with section 47(1) of the ‘Local Government Act 1993’, Moree Plains Shire Council gives 28 days Public notice that it proposes to grant a Licence to the Moree Bicycling Club Inc. for the following property (‘Land’):

Lot 538 DP 751780, known as the Velodrome, Endeavour Lane, Moree, which is part of Crown Reserve, Mehi (R70008) Reserve. The Land is Crown Reserved Land for which Council is the appointed Crown Land Manager. The land is managed pursuant to Sections 3.21(2) and 3.22 of the Crown Lands Management Act 2016 as if it were community land for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1993. The land use will be sanctioned bicycling club events, including racing, skill development, social riding, working bees and fundraisers, which is provided for in the Council, ‘Plan of Management for Community Land (Parks, Sportsgrounds, General Community Use)’. The licence term is proposed for 5 years.
