The Town of Bassendean is pleased to announce our participation in the WA Tree Festival, a community celebration highlighting the importance of trees in our urban environment and beyond. Running from April to May 2024, the festival promises a diverse array of workshops, engaging activities, and opportunities for residents.
Trees play a crucial role in our ecosystem, offering a multitude of benefits that contribute to our health, environment, and quality of life. From cooling our homes and streets to providing habitat for wildlife, trees are essential for creating sustainable and vibrant communities. The WA Tree Festival aims to raise awareness of these benefits and inspire individuals to become stewards of the environment.
