As Central Highlands Regional Council prepares for the new councillor term, it is with great appreciation that we thank our valued councillors who have dedicated themselves to improving our community over the past four years.
There have been difficult and challenging times for council during this term, starting with the COVID pandemic, which caused an immense impact on everyday life and a number of changes to the Chief Executive Officer position.
However, council has achieved significant milestones, implemented crucial policies, and embarked on transformative initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of Central Highlanders.
Central Highlands Regional Council Acting Chief Executive Officer Ross Higgins expressed his thanks to all councillors, Kerry Hayes, Christine Rolfe, Charlie Brimblecombe, Joseph Burns, Anne Carpenter, Megan Daniels, Janice Moriarty, Gai Sypher and Rachael Cruwys.
‘Their invaluable contributions, leadership, and dedication through their unwavering commitment and vision to our region have not gone unnoticed,’ he said
