Recently, as part of the Seniors Staying Connected program, a group of local seniors from Coolgardie and Kambalda joined together for a outing to Orana Cinemas in Kalgoorlie. Boarding the community bus, they set off for a day of camaraderie and entertainment.
Upon arrival at the cinema, the seniors were treated to complimentary boxes of popcorn, ice cream, and water, much to their delight.Following the movie, a group photo captured the joyous occasion before the return journey to Coolgardie commenced.
In addition to the cinematic experience, the group decided to visit the Super Pit lookout, where some seniors rediscovered the awe-inspiring view after many years, while others saw it for the first time, capturing beautiful memories with photographs.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gerry McGough for his excellent driving and to all the seniors who joined us on this wonderful journey. As we look ahead, our May calendar offers more opportunities for connection and enjoyment, including PINK Sugar Crafts with Sandy at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility.
Join us for PINK Sugar Crafts on Wednesday 15th May!To participate in these upcoming events, please register by phoning 9080 2111.
Let's continue to stay connected!
