Wyndham City is excited to be hosting a free Volunteer Expo on Saturday, 11 May between 10am to 2pm at Encore Events Centre.
The Expo will feature a range of Volunteering organisations across all sectors. There will be people on hand from volunteer organisations to provide information, answer questions and have a chat about volunteer positions on offer.
Wyndham City Mayor Cr Jennie Barrera said: “Wyndham City is encouraging anyone interested in volunteering to come along to the Volunteer Expo and find out about a range of opportunities that are available in our municipality.”
“Come and meet your local community groups and not-for-profit organisations who need your help.”
“Volunteering has many benefits and is a great way to get involved in the local community, make a difference, build social connections, learn new skills and can be a pathway to employment.”
“Volunteering brings people together, it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.”
This is a free Wyndham City event and you are welcome to come between 10am and 2pm on 11 May and find out how you can make a difference.
