The Shire of Beverley has entered the Unrestricted Burning as of 1 April 2024.
There have already been a number of escaped fires that have required 000 calls and Bush Fire Brigade response to control, causing significant disruptions to other people.
Please always consider the safety and necessity of your burning.
If you are not burning for agricultural purposes please consider delaying any burning until after 6pm when weather conditions are usually safer.
You need to not only consider the current conditions but also check the weather forecast for the period after your burn in case you fail to properly extinguish all material and it escapes your control.
Escaped burns can be a costly mistake if property is damaged or destroyed.
