Central Highlands Regional Council is responsible for the maintenance of around 5,000 km of roads throughout the region.
Below are the road work projects that have commenced or are scheduled over the next month.
️Grading maintenance works:
South: Arcturus Road, Cungelella Road, Buckland Road, Glentana Road, Tanderra Road, Yandaburra Road, Rewan Road, Arcadia Valley Road, Brolga Gully Road, Cocklebinda Road, Central Creek Road, Comet Downs Road, Yandina Road, Borthistle Road, Bottle Tree Downs Road.
Central: Tadcaster Road, Olivevale Road, Withersfield Road, Lochington Road.
North: Retro Corry Road (RMPC), Cotherstone Road, Fairhills Road, Malthoid Road.
East: 87A Dawson Development Road, Apis Creek Road (RMPC), 85B Fitzroy Development Road (RMPC), Palmgrove Road.
Resheeting:
South: Comet Downs Road, Yandina Road, Glenlee Road.
️Floodways:

Ongoing Construction Projects:
South: 85A Defence Road, Arcadia Valley Road pave and seal
Central: Mayfair Estate Rehabilitation, Pilot Farm Road – reinstate new 3m wide footpath, MMT contractors – installation of footpaths Brief Street, Park Avenue footpath and culvert, Gregory Highway shared pathway, Withersfield Road bridge.
North: German Creek Crossing
East: Doon Street, Blackwater – Asphalt surfacing, kerb and channel, pathway works and installation of parking bays.
