The Rush Festival is set to return bigger and better with 3 days of activities and entertainment from 11-13 October 2024, with tickets on sale now.
Mayor Liz Schmidt said, she was excited to see the return of the festival for the third year and is looking forward to seeing the benefits to the region.
“With activities planned to cater for all ages over the entire weekend, with a few new additions, this year’s event is sure be a fun experience for everyone,” said Mayor Schmidt.
The weekends festivities will commence on Friday night with the annual Twilight Markets, where you will be able to enjoy laid back entertainment, grab something tasty to eat and browse the stalls for a bargain.
Saturday’s Goldrush Concert will see live music from 2pm, with Shots Fired, Rogue Traders, Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows and Thirsty Merc rocking the stage through the afternoon and well into the night.
On Sunday, 13 October grab a team of friends or work colleagues and head back to the Showgrounds to take part in the annual Towers Rush event, which is always a great social morning spent exploring and experiencing the best of Charters Towers.
“We are hoping to increase visitation to the Region and encourage visitors to plan an extended stay so they can really enjoy their time here and explore what we have to offer,” continued Mayor Schmidt.
