Two smartphone filmmaking workshops with the world leaders in smartphone filmmaking from Sydney's SF3 - the SmartFone Flick Fest. Come along and learn everything you need to know to create amazing and professional films on your phone or tablet. You will be taught all about screenwriting, cinematography, resolution, frame rates, editing, music and more but in a super fun and accessible way. SF3's Angela Blake will run the workshop alongside local award-winning filmmaker, Michele Jedlicka. Angela will teach an online component of the class on Monday 22nd April from 5:30-7:30pm via Zoom where she will teach all the skills and techniques needed to turn your phone into a professional movie camera. She will also teach screenwriting and start you thinking about what film you will be shooting in your class. This workshop is for all students.
Then there will be two live workshops at the Moree Community Library:
Tuesday 23 April from 10am - 1pm is for 12-15 year olds. Wednesday 24 April from 10am - 1pm is for 16-24 years olds.
In these classes Award-Winning filmmaker, Michèle Jedlicka, will guide you through the shooting and editing of your film: giving detailed notes, helping you add music and sound effects, titles, credits and all the little things that will take your films to the next level. She will also teach you all about film festivals and how to not only get into them but how to win awards in them.
All you need to bring with you is your creativity and a device to shoot on.
