Public notice: Water mains replacement works – Harris Street, Emerald

Please be advised that the water main replacement works are scheduled to be completed on Friday 12 April 2024. Properties in the vicinity of Harris Street, Borilla Street, Leahy Place, and Gibson Grove will now be supplied with water from the new water main.

Key dates for remaining works:

From Monday 15 April to Wednesday 17 April: profiling will begin with 50mm of the top gravel road-base being removed.

From Thursday 18 April to Friday 19 April: Harris Street and Borilla Street will have the new asphalt prep-coat and asphalt reinstated.

Residents will not be able to drive in or out of their property while the asphalt is being installed, and for several hours afterwards.

Extra care will be required by residents when driving in and out of properties.
