A big thank you for making the WA Tree Festival such a success goes to:

The City of Stirling and WALGA for bringing together communities to understand the importance of trees in a warming climate, cooling us down, providing habitat for wildlife and improving mental health and wellbeing.Birdlife WA for delivering a riveting Bird Walk. Rockingham residents helped identify 22 species of birds in Don Shepherd Nature Reserve Trail, a key location of remnant bushland supporting biodiversity within the City.  A full list of birds identified can be found on the Birdlife WA website. Native Plants WA – With 11,000 plants given out to community, the City’s winter gardens have been boosted by native, waterwise seedlings, creating a premise for gardens buzzing with backyard biodiversity.
