The Council has an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Financial Accountant to join the Finance and Information Services team. Reporting to the Manager this newly created role will focus on providing timely specialist financial accounting and reporting whilst working collaboratively with the team and various stakeholders.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Essential: Tertiary accounting qualifications and experience in the preparation of annual financial reports and managing financial contract acquittals, ideally in a service delivery environment. 

Salary and conditions: Full-time position.  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement Professional Officer Level. Remuneration will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
