The 2024-25 program begins on 1 July, and tourism operators can be included in promotional material such as city maps and other publications if they sign up by 17 May.
By joining the program, businesses can also:
Increase their business profile through Visit Albury Wodonga’s digital channels, the Visitor Information Centre and industry representation.Collaborate with like-minded tourism operatorsKnowledge and skill development from industry expertsAccess industry insights and data to help inform business activities.AlburyCity Team Leader Visitor Economy and Experience, Suzy Watson, said participating operators benefit the entire region by helping to encourage visitors and making Albury Wodonga a destination of choice.
“We already know that our cities are filled with unique visitor attractions, and this program is about getting that message out to a broader audience and enticing them here to experience our region for themselves,” she said.
“As partners in the program, local operators can be a part of targeted out of region marketing campaigns and receive industry support from our dedicated team.”
There are five partnership levels operators can choose from, including an Introductory level for new businesses or those who have not previously been part of the program.
Other options are:
Essential ($470), which is best for small businesses and sole traders who want support and a presence on the Visit Albury Wodonga website and at the Albury Visitor Information Centre.Premium ($783), for businesses wanting additional marketing and promotional opportunities.Out-of-region ($1145), for operators and councils within one-hour's travel of Albury-Wodonga.Business Event & Conference ($1445), for operators with medium to large function spaces and large accommodation properties.Albury Mayor, Kylie King, encouraged local tourism operators to get involved.
“This is an opportunity to leverage off established and proven marketing platforms and become part of the big-picture tourism and visitor economy activities of our region,” she said.
