If you’re a livestock producer keen to get a seat at one of Agriculture Victoria’s free post-bushfire farming courses – but struggle to find time away from your land – you’re in luck.
AgVic will be holding a three-hour workshop on May 29, presented by Jess Revell. Jess is the Principal Nutritionist and Animal Production Consultant at Rumenate Livestock Services, and has extensive experience providing advice on ration formulation, intensive animal nutrition, extensive animal production, reducing metabolic disease, and seasonal management.
Jess’s course will focus on livestock feeding requirements and feeding after fire for pasture recovery, and the short-form presentation is perfectly suited to those who don’t have the time for AgVic’s longer programs (such as the Whole Farm Planning course).
Regardless of whether you’re a new farmer just learning about how these issues affect your livestock and land, or a more established farmer looking for a refresher course, the Stock Feeding Workshop aims to provide practical and detailed advice for livestock producers.
Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
