Community Consultation – Risby Street Road & Drainage Reconstruction Works

Central Coast Council has engaged FMG Engineering to complete the design and documentation of the Road and Drainage Reconstruction Works at Risby Street, Ulverstone.

To help explain the project and provide the community with an opportunity to ask questions, Council and FMG Engineering will be holding an information session.

Wednesday 22nd from 5.30pm to 8.00pm

Hive’s Studio 1, 50 Main Street, Ulverstone, TAS 7315

WHAT:

Central Coast Council and FMG Engineering have released the Community Consultation Plans for community review and comment. You can view the Community Consultation drawings here, or at the event.

At this session, a representative from FMG Engineering and Central Coast Council will be in attendance to discuss the proposed plans.

These plans include the following design proposals:

Improving the street for residents and road users; Improving the aesthetics of the street by means of treescape, footpath and kerb renewals; Removing the safety risk associated with limited width between parked vehicles by means of designated indented parallel parking; Improved stormwater drainage; and Improved full-strength sealed road pavement to improve existing conditions and minimise future maintenance requirements.

Representatives will also be available to record any feedback for the project team to consider and answer any design related queries.
