The role:
As a Plumber, your daily activities will be associated with water and wastewater reticulation throughout the Mareeba Shire. This may include maintaining underground utilities, operating mobile plant, live sewer work and working in confined spaces.
The position is required to assist with after-hours work and be part of an on-call support roster for the water and waste section.
What we are looking for:
You will be a qualified plumber with a current Plumber and Drainer licence You will have a working knowledge of water and wastewater reticulation systems and experience complying with WHS and environmental legislative requirements You will have well-developed communication skills and be able to work well in a small team environment including providing training and mentoring support to apprentices within the team You will be able to work successfully and productively on your own and be able to problem solve You will hold a current Queensland MR class licence or be able to obtain oneWhat we can offer you:
