Public notice: Valve and hydrant works – Emerald

Please be advised that water supply will be affected in Emerald due to valve and hydrant works on the following dates and locations:

Thursday 13 June from 9 pm to 12.00 am:Brief and Dundas Street Thursday 13 June from 12.30 am to 4.30 am:Opal St, New St, Lorraway St, Brook St, Frank Bell St, Bicentennial Dr and Glen St Friday 14 June from 9.00 pm to 1.00 am:Slacks Dr, Quinin St, Donnelly St, Rus Layton Dr, Peggy Ct, Sharlyn Cres, Chalmers Cres, Shepherd Gr, Vanessa Pl, Yvette Ct, Spring Gr, Long St Saturday 15 June from 8.00 pm to 12.00 am:School Ln, Opal St, Yamala St, Borilla St, Church Ln Sunday 16 June 2024 from 1.00 am to 5.00 am:Rus Layton and Long streets

The contractor, Comlek will be replacing valves and hydrants affecting water supply in the above areas.

You might experience slight discolouration of your water after these works, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period of time. If this persists, please contact council on 1300 242 686.
