The Council has an exciting opportunity for a Development Officer to join the Infrastructure Services team.
This position is responsible for the assessment of building and development applications on behalf of the road and drainage authority for Council.
The Development Officer will join a collaborative and supportive team to play a crucial role in overseeing development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Essential: Formal relevant tertiary engineering qualifications in Civil Engineering (Advanced Diploma or Degree) and understanding/experience of planning and development processes in a Local Government environment.
Salary and conditions: Full-time position. Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – $72,621 – $98,813 (Professional Officer Level). Renumeration will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
