Solstice celebration

Friday, June 21, 2024, 4 – 6pm Join the Education Team in celebrating the shortest day of the year. Explore our Analemmatic sundial on the Administration lawn. Create a lantern to 'encourage' the sun to return after the long, dark night and take an early evening walk through the Gardens. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear warm clothes and covered walking shoes.This event supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the plant back into Planet.
