The award-winning Firefly Night Market returns on 6 July to Tarneit, a wonderful winter night event that’s filled with warm smiles and community spirit.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Jennie Barrera, said the event would return for the third year due to popular demand.
“This event is a real celebration of the Tarneit community, drawing thousands of residents and visitors,” she said.
“It is known for its diverse range of stallholders and food trucks that promise a culinary journey around the world and its showcase of local makers.”
“Local favourite, Little Growling Café, is back with their cosy chai tent and traders from Tarneit Gardens Shopping Centre are gearing up for a busy evening! It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local as you enjoy this magical evening.”
The entertainment lineup on the night will feature a vibrant mix of multicultural performances on stage, there’ll also be stalls representing community groups and sports clubs who will add to the festive atmosphere.
The event was recognised as Australia’s Best Small Event at the 2023 Australian Event Awards.
This free Wyndham City event is made possible with the support of the Tarneit Revitalisation Board and funding from the Victorian Government. It is delivered as part of the Tarneit Suburban Revitalisation Program in partnership with the Victorian Government.
