The City has changed to a bookable bulk junk and green waste verge collection service. This new flexible service replaces the current scheduled bulk junk and green waste collections.

This means instead of placing your bulk junk and green waste on the verge on a set date each year, you can now book online or by calling the City.

The new service aims to help achieve the WA Government’s Waste Strategy by increasing material recovery and decreasing waste going to landfill.

Bookings are now open and collections have started.

Every residential property paying a waste service fee is eligible to book one collection of each of the following, each financial year:

bulk hard waste, up to 3m3  bulk green waste, up to 3m3  mattresses, up to 3 items  white goods, up to 4 items  e-waste, up to 6 items

Book your verge collection online or by calling 9405 5000.

For more information on how to use the new service, how to place items on your verge, what can and cannot be collected and rehoming or donating items that are in good condition, visit wanneroo.wa.gov/waste.
