The Town of Cambridge proudly marked its 30th anniversary on 1 July 2024, commemorating three decades of creating communities, growth, and achievements.
Established in 1994 through the State Government’s restructure of the City of Perth, the Town of Cambridge – along with the Town (now City) of Vincent and the Town of Victoria Park – has grown into a vibrant community with its own identity in Perth’s inner western suburbs.

Mayor Gary Mack expressed his pride when reflecting on past Town achievements and optimism for the future.
“This is a momentous occasion for the Town of Cambridge. Over the past 30 years, we have seen significant progress and town improvements. It’s a chance for us to reflect on our accomplishments and celebrate the community spirit that has shaped Cambridge,” he said.
“The future looks bright for our Town, and we are excited to see what the next 30 years will bring. We are proud of our history and look forward to continuing to make Cambridge a great place to live, work, and visit.”
A series of events and activities will run from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 to mark this milestone. The popular Cambridge Street Festival will return in March 2025, offering a celebration with entertainment, food, and activities for all ages. The full schedule of events can be found on the Town's website, inviting residents, businesses, and visitors to participate.
