Unplanned Water Outage – Mareeba

Mareeba Shire Council wishes to advise Mareeba residents about an unplanned water service interruption this evening. Interruptions to water supply will take place for approximately two (2) hours from 11:00 pm this evening, 8 July 2024, until 1:00 am tomorrow morning, Tuesday, 9 July 2024.

The isolating of water to Mareeba will allow Council to install a new water valve at the corner of the Herberton Street and Constance Street intersection as part of the project to install a roundabout at this location. Council apologises for the short notice and would like to thank residents of Mareeba for their understanding. Council has advised the relevant agencies about the water supply interruption and emergency measures are in place should water be required.
