Compost Turn and Learn

Saturday, August 24, 2024, 10 – 11am Keen to get into composting at home? Join a one-hour ‘turning and learning' compost demonstration and chat. Environment Centre staff will talk you through the basics of some of the organic recycling options suitable for a home garden, balcony, or kitchen bench.This session is an adults only event.Requirements: Please arrive ten minutes early to check in at the centre. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent as this session will take place outside. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch if required as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
