This past Wednesday, Kambalda Community Recreation Facility was transformed into a vibrant battlefield for an action-packed Nerf Gun War, delighting 19 children who eagerly participated in the event. The day was filled with excitement, teamwork and laughter as kids aged 5 – 12 , engaged in a series of thrilling activities from constructing forts to honing their aim with target practice.
As the children arrived, the anticipation was palpable. Each participant received a brightly coloured Nerf gun and a safety kit, complete with goggles and foam darts. Divided into teams, the kids were ready to embark on their adventure, with an expansive battleground.
The event began with the construction of forts. The atmosphere was electric as the kids cheered each other on, offering tips and encouragement to help improve their aim. The target practice session not only enhanced their shooting skills but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants.
