On a very stormy evening of Friday, 28 June at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility a group of craft enthusiasts gathered for a workshop on dried flower arrangements. The event aimed to revive the age-old art of preserving and showcasing flowers in a sustainable and creative manner.
Armed with a huge assortment of dried blooms including lavender, roses, and baby’s breath, attendees delved in the practical aspects of arrangement. Under the expert guidance of Jemma Belhamine and mum Julie, of Addicted to Plants and Dried Artificial flowers, everyone experimented with textures, colours, and compositions to create stunning displays. Each participant crafted a unique piece reflecting their personal style and creativity.
In conclusion, the dried flower arrangement workshop served not only as a creative outlet but also as a reminder of the enduring appeal of handmade crafts in today’s fact paced world.
Everyone left with a handcrafted masterpiece and newfound inspiration.
Big thank you to everyone for attending and to Jemma and Julie of Addicted to Plants and Dried Artificial flowers for delivering an amazing workshop.
