CUSTOMER SERVICEAND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Council is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team to provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service to our community.   

This position is responsible for providing a friendly and professional front desk customer service function for the Council, and efficient and effective administrative services assistance for Council’s Development Support team. Council’s Development Support team includes Land use planning, Building, Plumbing, Environmental health, Parking and Animal control. This role plays a key part in helping developers, applicants and other community members navigate Tasmania’s complex regulatory environment.

Essential:  Demonstrated capability to provide exceptional customer service and Certificate III in Administration or Business, or equivalent experience. 

Salary and conditions:  Full-time position.  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Administration/Clerical Level 2.1 – 2.3 ($66,321 – $69,739).
