Public notice: Valve and hydrant works – Emerald

Please be advised that water supply will be affected in Emerald due to valve and hydrant works on the following dates and locations:

Tuesday, 23 July 2024 between 9 am to 3 pm and Wednesday, 24 July between 9 am to 3 pm

Locations:

Borilla St, Loch St, Cominos St, Garnet St, Saffola Pl, Copland St, Campbell St, Burns Ave, Zircon Ave, Sapphire Ave, Retro St, Dearden Pl, Brahman Pl, Centenary Dr, Leichardt St, Hereford Pl, McKendry St, Carbeen Pl, Lewis Pl, Bridgeman St, Harris St, Moody St, Tineele Pl, Ward Pl, Opal St, Braeside Rd, Barry St, Alamein Dr, Park Ave, Colleen Ave, Roseanne Rd, Judith Gr, Dawn Cr, Jacqueline Dr.

The contractor, Comlek will be performing isolation tests to valves and hydrants affecting water supply in the above areas for short periods of time not exceeding 15 minutes.

You might experience slight discolouration of your water after these works, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period of time. If this persists, please contact council on 1300 242 686.
